Plastic Beach Bag

Plastic Beach Bag

Plastic Beach Bag
• One transparent plastic copybook cover (gallaad), approximately 45 cm x 30 cm
• One sheet of thin blue foam (35 cm x 20 cm)
• Stapler and staples
• Child-friendly scissors1) Using the scissors, cut out 2 handles for your bag from the plastic cover, approximately 30 cm long and 3.5 cm wide each.
2) Cut out 2 strips from the sheet of foam 30cm x 3cm, and another 2 strips 22.5 cm x 3 cm.
3) Staple the strips that are 30 cm x 3 cm to the top and the bottom of the cover. You will need to bend each strip in half so that it forms an equal border on each side.
4) Fold the copybook cover in half so that you can staple its sides in the same way using the remaining 2 strips.
5) From the remaining piece of foam, cut out 2 heart shapes exactly the same size to decorate the front and back of your bag. For a nice effect, make sure they are exactly back to back!
6) Staple the handles to the middle of your bag – one handle on each side.bag2
Make a wallet!
You can make a wallet in exactly the same way to put inside your bag! Just make sure you have an extra piece of copybook cover, 30 cm long and 10 cm wide. You will also need 2 strips of foam, 15 cm long and 3 cm wide each!
