Home Made Burger
Add a little corn oil to a pan and fry a finely chopped onion until it softens. Remove the onions from the pan.
In a bowl, add a kilo of red minced meat and throw in the cooked onion. Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper.
Add a pinch of ground nutmeg, a handful of finely chopped parsley, and half a teaspoon of cinnamon (optional). Mix well.
With your hands make your round patties but remember not to press them too hard so they remain soft and juicy.
Fry in a little oil or barbecue them until cooked to your liking.
Serve with round buns, cut up some round onion rings, tomatoes and lettuce to add to the burger and don’t forget the mustard, ketchup or barbecue sauce if you like.
