Sometimes life is too much of a challenge and seems so unfair. Especially as mothers, as we raise our kids, take care of our homes and try to be good wives, we are so often faced with worries, hardships and disappointments and we wonder why things have to be this way. We experience frustration, guilt and sadness and we find it difficult to cope. We allow the sometimes unpleasant memories of the past to find their way into our daily lives and worry about a future that in reality does not exist, instead of making the most of the fact that we are here today. I’ve recently stumbled upon a beautiful word that provides an answer to all our queries and offers inner peace and satisfaction: FAITH. If we live with this word constantly in our minds, and feel it in our hearts, suddenly every day can seem a great deal brighter or at the very least, a great deal easier to cope with. If we have faith that everything happens for a reason, even if we do not understand what that reason is, then we will live with a contentment that can only grow as our faith grows.
