Homemade Bread with Rosemary
Try out this recipe for homemade bread!
Get a large bowl ready. Pour in half a kilogram of flour.
Add 2 tsp of salt, 2 tsp of sugar and 1 tsp of yeast.
Now add in 4 tbsp of fresh rosemary (crushed to allow extra aroma), 1 cup of water and slowly mix into the flour using your hand.
Add a little more water and stir gently.
Form into a large round ball, and add more flour slowly if it becomes too sticky.
When done set to rest in a clean bowl and cover with cling film for an hour.
Preheat the oven to 200 degrees celsius for 10 minutes.
Place the bread dough onto an oven-proof dish that has been greased with olive oil. Sprinkle a little more olive oil onto the bread.
Place inside the hot oven for approx. 30 minutes.
Turn the bread over once and add a little olive oil if necessary.
