Creamy Potatoes in the Oven

Peel and cut 5 large potatoes into round circles. Half boil them in a large pan, then drain the water.

In an oven-proof dish, layer some of the potatoes, sprinkle salt and freshly ground pepper and some grated cheese of your choice (I like mozzarella, parmesan or yellow cheddar).

Layer more potatoes and again add more grated cheese.

Now add a pinch of nutmeg, and layer 3 sprigs of fresh rosemary. Season a little more with salt and pepper.

Pour cooking cream on top of the potatoes to just about cover them. Sprinkle more cheese.

Put them in a hot oven for about 30 – 40 minutes.
