Bread and Butter Pudding

I don’t usually do desserts , but every once in a while I manage with quick easy ones like this:
  1. In an oven-proof dish wipe some butter at the bottom.
  2. Remove the edges of 10 white pieces of toast and slice them in halves.
  3. Spread the jam of your choice onto each slice and layer the toast into the dish.
  4. Throw in a small handful of raisins and sprinkle a little cinnamon and powdered sugar.
  5. Repeat the process by layering the rest of the bread until you have used them all up (like you do with lasagna).
  6. Then pour sweet cooking cream making sure you cover the bread.
  7. Sprinkle a little more cinnamon on top and into the hot oven it goes for about 10-15 minutes. EAT HOT!
