Tooth Loss

In some cases when a tooth is knocked out, it can be re-implanted if you seek medical care immediately.

What to Do

•Handle the tooth by the top only, without  touching the roots

•Never scrub or scrape the tooth to remove dirt

•Gently rinse the tooth in a glass of tap water. Don’t hold it under running water

•Try to replace the tooth in the socket. If  this doesn’t work, place it in milk, or in a warm mild saltwater solution to preserve the ligament viability until you seek medical care
